World's Most Embarassing Halloween Costumes

Posted by Editor John On Thursday, December 18, 2008 0 comments
Bat Child - All Grown Up : Remember that hilarious old cover of the Weekly World News? Well this creative fellow turned it into a Halloween costume.

You Tube Video - With Penis Transplant : Clever idea, but not the best subject matter. Of course he will be knocking over everything and bumping into everyone, but what makes this so embarrassing is the the “Related Videos” to the right: The World’s First Penile Transplant?

Maternity Room : Ah, the miracle of birth.

Creepy Bert & Ernie : Dressing up as gay Muppets. What else do I need to say? Well, I will add they are creepy too; almost like Joker from Batman rejects. And the rubber ducky isn’t helping.

Retired Hooter Girls : I can only pray that those sagging boobs are prosthetics.

Elvis with Camel Toe : Of course I’m assuming this is a costume and not the real Elvis. Although I think the real Elvis could someone avoid showing a camel toe. Thank you, thank you, very much!

Free Mammogram Test - Feminist Look Away : Wow, I’m surprised the guy doesn’t have two black eyes, and no, not for the reason you think. I wonder if he has a girlfriend or wife. Not after that costume.

Sheep Molester : No words to say ... Priceless !

Spider-man - Nice Package : Okay at first glance you think, not bad for an older overweight guy. Then you take a second glance and think, “Dear God, make me blind!” If you don’t see it, move on and let it go.

Hot Dog with an Afro? : You tell yourself that as a human race that we have evolved, matured, if you will. And then you see a man dressed as a 6-foot vagina. Or a messed up hot dog with an afro.

In Short : Okay, I’ll admit some of these costumes caused me to chuckle but I wouldn’t be caught dead wearing any of these in public or in private, for that matter. I give full credit to the brave people who could put pride aside and wear any of these embarrassing Halloween costumes for the enjoyment of others on Halloween.

Cambridge Students Went Out Undressed For Charity

Posted by Editor John On Tuesday, December 16, 2008 0 comments
Veterinarian students from Cambridge University are the unlikely stars of the latest naked calendar to raise money for charity - using farmyard animals to protect their modesty.

January : Female veterinary students get into a lather while bathing a dog.

February : The calendar is designed to raise money for the university's Queen's Veterinary School Hospital, which needs £2 million for key equipment.

March : The Cancer Therapy Unit is in urgent need of expansion and the hospital wants to buy a radiotherapy machine, replacing the current one which is more than 30 years old.

April : Strategically placed lambs and rather unimpressed cows form an integral part of the set of 12 pictures.

May : The hospital is entirely reliant on donations for veterinary treatment, education and research because it receives no government funding.

June : Fiona Jacobs, who organised the shoot and posed for the calendar, said the models braved chilly temperatures as they held their risque poses.

July : "As you'd no doubt guess from seeing the pictures from this year's calendar, we had a fantastic time making it, although it was pretty cold up on the farm I can tell you," she said..

August : "We are all very happy to be involved in producing something fun and light-hearted, which could potentially help us raise a large amount of money for a very worthy cause," she continued.

September : By selling the calendar for £9, the students hope they can emulate the success of The Women's Institute when their poses with sticky buns and knitting needles raised thousands of pounds and inspired a Hollywood film starring Helen Mirren.

October : Nice Cowgirl ...yaah !

November : This page goes for the month of November..

December : The calendar is available from the University of Cambridge Veterinary School Trust, Cambridge, on 01223 764475...

Political Christmas Cards

Posted by Editor John On Tuesday, December 16, 2008 0 comments
David Cameron's Christmas card, featuring an intimate black and white portrait of his family relaxing at home, could be seen as an act of defiance after Gordon Brown accused him of using his family as "props" earlier this year .

In previous years, the Tory leader has selected cards designed by children in his constituency to send out his Christmas greetings. Last year's card was designed by 11-year-old Bethany Brown...

.... the previous year's card featured a drawing by seven-year-old Scarlett Sadler from Woodstock CE Primary School, Woodstock, Oxfordshire...

...while his 2005 card was designed by eight-year-old Iona Brow of St Mary's school, Chipping Norton .

Gordon Brown refuses to allow photographs of his own young children to appear in public .

Tony Blair, the former Prime Minister, was criticised for featuring his own four young children on his annual festive card .

Derek Conway, who was suspended for making improper payments to members of his family, proudly displayed the whole family on his card last year .

Most party leaders have steered clear of personal cards, but their choices can be telling. When William Hague was Tory leader, he chose a painting of a hardy shepherd battling to lead his flock home and to safety .

Charles Kennedy, however, chose an impersonal scene which gave away nothing (apart from its obvious Scottishness).

World's First Luxurious Hotel - To Refrigerate Beach !!

Posted by Editor John On Sunday, December 14, 2008 0 comments
Cool spot ... due to open in 2009, the Palazzo Versace fashion house in Dubai will boast the first refrigerated beach, so hotel guests can walk comfortably across the sand on scorching days.

Water view ... the 10-storey hotel will have 213 rooms, several with their own internal swimming pools, plus 169 apartments .

Stylish hotel ... the hotel will be the second from the fashion designers, who already boast the Palazzo Versace on the Gold Coast. Here's what we can expect...

Money pit ... the refrigerated beach is designed to give Versace the edge in this battle of luxury lifestyles in Dubai .

Water view ... the 10-storey hotel will have 213 rooms, several with their own internal swimming pools, plus 169 apartments.

Sweet suit ... condominium features include spa baths and leisure lounge.

Poolside ... the hotel lagoon pool and sandy beach will be chilled and guests can also enjoy a scuba lagoon and a pool bar .

Food for thought ... three restaurants will offer guests all-day dining.

Wings of luxury ... Palazzo Versace consists of luxury condominiums in the Ala Destra (right wing) and Ala Sinistra (left wing).

Battle of the brands ... Versace rival, Armani, is planning to build a similarly branded hotel .

In Short : A LUXURY hotel in Dubai is to create the first refrigerated beach so hotel guests can walk comfortably across the sand on scorching days. The Palazzo Versace fashion house will have a network of pipes beneath the sand containing a coolant that will absorb heat from the surface..
The swimming pool will be refrigerated and there are also proposals to install giant blowers to waft a gentle breeze over the beach.

"We will suck the heat out of the sand to keep it cool enough to lie on," said Soheil Abedian, founder and president of Palazzo Versace.

"This is the kind of luxury that top people want."

The 10-storey hotel will have 213 rooms, several with their own internal swimming pools, plus 169 apartments. Fifteen more such hotels are planned.

Competition to serve the world's rich is getting intense, especially in Dubai. The city already boasts the world's first seven-star hotel, the Burj Al Arab, while Armani, a competitor with Versace, is building a similarly branded hotel.
